Marketing Strategy Lead (Healthcare)
Own Client Strategy. Act as the Primary Strategic Lead. Local Remote-First Position.

We have built strong retention, consistent revenue, and a growing healthcare niche. As demand and complexity increase, we are expanding our senior leadership bench to ensure client strategy is led with focus, clarity, and consistency.
This role exists to own client strategy end to end and act as the primary strategic voice for our clients.

What you will actually do
Own marketing strategy for clients (majority healthcare) nationwide typically in the $2k to $5k per month range, where prioritization and understanding tactical tradeoffs matter.
- Lead onboarding, planning, and ongoing strategy conversations with clients over Zoom or in-person.
- Prioritize marketing channels and initiatives with limited budgets.
- Set expectations, manage scope, and guide clients with confidence.
- Collaborate with senior creative and marketing leadership.
- Direct and manage marketing implementers.
- Communicate internally and directly with clients campaign results, tradeoffs, and next steps clearly.
- Identify opportunities to improve client retention, focus, and performance.
You will be trusted to make decisions, with the expectation that you do not need to ask permission.
Who this role IS for

- You are comfortable being the most senior strategic voice in the room.

- You can step into an existing strategy framework, evaluate it critically, and evolve it to improve performance and client experience.
Healthcare or regulated industry experience is strongly preferred, but candidates from other high trust or compliance-driven environments will be considered.

- Channel (SEO, PPC, Social, etc.) specialists only.
- People who need constant step by step direction.
- Anyone uncomfortable leading client conversations.
- Anyone who seeks approval for every decision.
- People who struggle to adapt priorities and strategic direction as client needs, data, or constraints change.

Required Experience & Capabilities
Non-Negotiable
- 5+ years in marketing strategy or client leadership.
- Proven experience leading client conversations independently.
- Strong working knowledge of inbound and outbound strategies including SEO, PPC, content, websites, and analytics.
- Experience directing and strengthening implementers without micromanagement.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete information that adapts over time.
Strongly Preferred
- Healthcare or regulated-industry experience.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, compliance, and patient acquisition dynamics.
- Agency or multi-client background.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 based on leadership experience and healthcare specific experience.
- Remote-first, occasional local in-person team meetings and client meetings. Applicants limited to 8-county WNY area.
- Retirement match up to 3%.

This role includes a 90 day trial period with clearly defined outcomes.

Within the first few months you are running strategy calls independently.
